We Help Teams Get Unstuck
The earliest stages of innovation are full of energy, and just as much uncertainty. Before things take shape, it’s easy to get lost in the swirl. That’s when clarity matters most and it’s where we come in.
Welcome to Spectory
We show up when things feel a little tangled - too many directions, not enough traction.
By working shoulder-to-shoulder with your team, we help clear the noise, spark momentum, and build the kind of clarity that actually moves work forward.

consumer understanding
We go beyond what people say to understand what really drives their choices, so you’re building for real behavior, not wishful thinking.early pipeline development
We help you cut through the swirl and shape ideas that are actually worth chasing: grounded in reality, directionally validated, and ready for what’s next.actionable growth strategy
No fluff, no five-year plans that are only words on a slide - just sharp, focused paths to grow in ways that actually move the needle.
The Spectory Shift
In early-stage work, clarity doesn’t lead. It follows.
There’s rarely a perfect answer, just a tangle of partial information, conflicting inputs, and high stakes. We don’t wait for things to settle. We move.

About Kate
Kate Spector helps teams find their footing when the path forward isn't obvious yet.
She works at the intersection of innovation strategy, consumer understanding, and facilitation - partnering with organizations to ask better questions, make sense of what they're hearing, and build enough clarity to move with confidence. Her approach is hands-on and direct: she's as comfortable running a room full of executives as she is interviewing students in dormrooms at 9pm, and she brings the same rigor to both.
Over the course of her career, Kate has worked with everyone from early-stage startups to Fortune 500 companies across B2C and B2B. She specializes in the messy middle: the part of innovation work where the inputs are tangled, the stakes are real, and teams need more than a framework. They need someone who can hold the complexity without losing sight of what actually matters.
Kate is known for the quality of her questions, her instinct for what's worth chasing, and her ability to design processes that create space for real thinking rather than just confirming what people already believe.
Because the hardest part of innovation isn't generating ideas. It's knowing what to do with them.

About the Network
Some projects need more than one brain. When they do, Kate brings in a trusted network of collaborators she’s worked with for years - leading experts in design, engineering, research, strategy, and more. Each team is intentionally built to bring diverse perspectives and a collaborative spirit, creating the kind of dynamic that pushes the work in smarter, more unexpected directions.
